The dream of a future in which people would travel around the world at twice the speed of sound became a reality when Concorde made its first test flight on March 2, 1969, and flew supersonically on October 1 of that same year. It then entered service with British Airways and Air France in 1976 and made its last commercial flight on October 24, 2003, with over 50,000 completed flights. In honor of this, our Concorde desk figurine is made of solid aluminum and highly polished, so that the subtle curves and angles beautifully catch the light.
